Community Initiatives Making a Difference
The Georgetown Project promotes the 40 Developmental Assets in youth through opportunities for growth, leadership, and community engagement. Youth Service Days to strengthen community bonds through intergenerational projects, Youth Voices Summits engage youth perspectives, and Youth Leadership and Service Scholarships honor outstanding GISD seniors. Youth Service Days
The Georgetown project promotes leadership development and community engagement through Youth Service Days. Teens strengthen their connection to the community through projects like park clean up, retirement home visits and more.

Youth Voices Summit
The Georgetown Project amplifies youth voices through the Youth Voices Summit, where Georgetown teens share their perspectives on the issues that matter most to them. This event brings together community, business, and nonprofit leaders to listen, learn, and engage directly with youth.

Scholarships
The Georgetown Project honors outstanding seniors for their leadership and service each spring. Applications for 2024-2025 scholarships are open until March 14th.
