Assets in Action
The Georgetown Project Bridges to Growth is an initiative to empower Georgetown parents and caregivers with the skills and confidence needed to create nurturing environments that are essential for young children’s social, emotional and cognitive development. Offering workshops, support groups, children’s events, ESL classes and more, we equip parents and caregivers with the tools to foster brighter futures for the next generation.

Empowering Georgetown’s Early Childhood Community
Bridges to Growth has been in the community for over two decades, supporting young children as they thrive. Throughout the year, we offer free workshops and groups for parents and caregivers, and free activities and events for children from birth through elementary school. Our location in the Carver Center for Families is designed with families in mind, with bright, enriching spaces for children to play and learn and for parents and caregivers to feel safe and comfortable. Visit our EventBrite Page to see what we have coming up.

Parent, Caregiver, and Early Childhood Educator Workshops
Workshops for parents and caregivers provide families with practical tools, knowledge and parenting strategies. We also offer early childhood educator training sessions, giving Texas teachers access to free, high-quality professional development hours to enhance their skills and impact. Register for classes through Eventbrite.

Children's Events
Weekday play and learn activities for toddlers and preschoolers help young children build the physical, verbal and social skills they need to start school ready to succeed. After school and summer activities give elementary school-aged kids opportunities to gain new experiences and develop new skills in a nurturing environment. Register for classes through Eventbrite.

Bilingual & Adult Education
Our bilingual program provides support and opportunities for Spanish-speaking families to connect with the community. We offer Spanish parenting classes and support groups all year-round. In the 2025-2026 school year, we are partnering with Mission Ed Solutions to offer free GED classes to the community. To learn more, visit Eventbrite. or email registration@georgetownproject.org.

And Coming Soon: Our Adopt a Mom program matches moms with caring mentors, connecting them with the community and the support they deserve.
