Research shows that children without enriching activities over the summer months typically lose learning and face a number of behavioral risks. Kid City offers 75-80 low-income K-5^th grade children in Georgetown ISD each year a quality summer camp experience just like many of their peers enjoy...........filled with healthy food—physical activity such as swimming, bowling, hiking—field trips to Georgetown’s beautiful parks—and connections to caring adults in a safe environment. This summer marks the 16^th year The Georgetown Project has offered Kid City, in partnership with Georgetown Parks & Recreation and Georgetown ISD.
